Hey everyone. I plan on using Gusto for payroll. It’s not in my budget to work with a CPA on a monthly basis for taxes. Does Gusto offer tax services besides payroll? I’m thinking of using Quickbooks for taxes but I don’t want to be paying for 2 things if one will do everything. I’d like to do taxes quarterly instead of at the end of the year. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
They are very different software applications. Gusto is not an accounting software. QuickBooks, while it has some advertised payroll capability, is not an HR tool. I use both in my business and each serves a different purpose.
Gusto is great as a payroll and HR option. I use both it and QuickBooks for both my businesses, QuickBooks for bookkeeping obviously. QuickBooks payroll from what I see on this sub isn’t that great. I like Gusto bc its just so friendly to beginners for onboarding new employees and it walks through every step. If you considering Gusto I would use a referral code for $100 visa gift card when you run payroll. https://gusto.com/r/rosie350
