I own a very new, very small business selling underboob sweat protectors.

This morning I posted an offer on my page. It wasn’t a big offer but it was a saving. We’re talking a £1 saving here. Trust me, that’s important information.

I get a comment on my offer: “if you can afford to post offers like that, why don’t you just drop your prices? 🙄”

I’m horrified. I don’t understand what the motivation was behind it… I don’t think my prices are unreasonable at all and I’m not sure why someone would say that?

    I am not OP, but I just wanted to say that this is a much more constructive approach. Thank you. Good advice you’ve got here.

    My best friend owns her own business, and while it’s fairly successful, she’s just one person. With three kids. So it’s harder than “normal”, if there is such a thing.

    Running a business by yourself is hard as it is. Then you have folks like the one grumping to OP. Who knows what else may be going on in OP’s life? We’re not here to judge, or shouldn’t be… They asked us for advice.
