I have a little pop up shop that I started at the beginning of the year. I sell fantasy and fairy inspired jewelry, Candles, and Trinkets. My business has been very well received by my local community and since opening a tiktok shop sales have really started to take off. My problem is I have zero education or experience in running a small business and I am very unorganized. I want to continue to grow my business and possibly open up a shop eventually. I am needing advice on how to create a structured business plan, financial plan, an efficient way to track inventory, and general help with calculating and planning for taxes. I currently have a business checking acct but am definitely guilty of using my card for personal expenses. I do not have any lines of credit associated with my business but do use klarna from time to time to pay for inventory. I currently do not have an ein or llc.I honestly have no idea what my gross profit for the year is but I do know I am profitable.

You are further ahead than you think. You actually KNOW and can IDENTIFY the not so great business practices that will prevent you from growing in the future. The fact that you are able to articulate where you are falling short is a sign of an intuitive, smart and realistic business owner. What is missing in your business currently are the resources you NEED to operate. I strongly recommend working on finding professionals that will help guide you to what you need to succeed. A local SCORE office is where to start. Take time to design and build your business structure. Learn what your business requires to function properly. To grow and thrive, you MUST work on your business structure in addition to working at your business during the hours of operation.
