  • i am starting a small business with an extremely small bootstrap budget due to being unofficially (to the govt, working on it) disabled. my family is my only source of income right now, unfortunately. i spent 3 whole days shopping this last week on pre black friday sales and then the actual sales to get some much needed essential supplies i couldn’t afford at regular pricing.

most prices were bullshit. straight up. it takes me forever to shop in general bc i know what i need and what specific style/all that, but i have to do extensive research and comparisons online on different versions of what i need to try & find the best cheapest price that is still quality product. it’s exhausting to say the least. if i was rich, shopping would take me 1/4th of the time (but i would still be cautious and frugal)

aliexpress & temu were pretty much all i could afford and they had pretty great deals. i’m in the handmade/home decor industry so most of my supplies are things like silicone molds, crafting tools, product photography setups/accessories, etc.

tldr: i was pleased with the deals i got.
