There’s an element of faith involved in making any company. Because most companies fail, the safest piece of feedback people can give it “I don’t think this will work”.

Don’t burn out is rule number 1

Rule number 2 is release something. Side projects have a tendency to drag on forever until you lose motivation. Focus on getting it out there. Then at least if you give up, you’ll still have something you can show for it.
