Selling at 1.7 on a 1.5 raise seems like they are bailing on growing the business. Unless the business is stuck where it’s at or burning cash too fast. Investors are either pissed for losing money on the deal or else they are just fighting for scraps of a sale?

1·1 year agoChin up! I promise your resume is not a wreck. Sounds to me that you like to work in fast paced and extremely challenging environments and have proven success. Short stints on a resume are not a red flag for someone working in early stage companies. You are in marketing so tell your story!
Early stage CEOs most important job is “don’t run out of money”. That means you are always selling, always looking for investors, always NOT RUNNING OUT OF MONEY.
1.7 on 1.5 sounds like liquidation more than a sale…
