There going to be lots of people with opinions and comments. Learn to ignore them and execute on your mission. You don’t need ppt to raise money. You need a story. A deck is simply a tool to convey that story. When you tell a random stranger what you’re working on do you say hang on let me pull out my slides? You just have a conversation.
That’s a good way to do it if you have a good story to tell. You make the content and someone helps you convey that message.
You need to find a group of people who need a problem. What you did - and what 90% of people do - you developed a technology in search of a problem. Flip the script. Don’t assume people want to pay for the best AI image generator. Talk to a people and find an audience - for example “creatives that use the Adobe suite” and ask them how they’re doing things today. Be curious and find out what issues your audience has. Then and only then start building your product. You did it backwards. Don’t fret, almost everyone does it. Now you know, start again. This time start w the audience.
Here’s the dirty little secret - you don’t need anything to start a business. Give someone something they want and get paid for it. That’s it.
If you figured out that part, the rest can be handled by other people or can be learned along the way.
Once you do it once, the process of doing it over and over again is the business.
So, forget everything deliver a product or service to a customer and get paid.
After that, create an llc (for protection) - you can google this. And hire for everything you don’t know how to do. Taxes, marketing, r&d, patents, etc.
Don’t sweat it. Make exciting.
Also, know with full conviction you will make mistakes. You are not trying to avoid mistakes, you’re trying to build a business. Nearly every mistake can be fixed with time, money or success.
