Don’t ask on here. Most are anti work people and will bash you for thinking anything other than what the employee wants is just plain wrong and he deserves it. If you think it’s outrageous then it is. Only you know what that job is worth to you and having to find someone else and train them. No one is getting 10% raises every year. Everyone thinks they’re irreplaceable and that’s just not the case.
