Biggest factor for you is having a Director. This is an actual Singaporean on the ground here in Singapore. Literally anyone with a pulse can do it but they are also on the hook if you do something illegal. Sleek will set one up for you for about $800/6 months or something.
Second biggest factor is SG bank account. If you are constantly keeping it close to zero you will most likely get it shut down.
I use Sleek for 3+ years and am neutral with them. Don’t hate them, don’t love them.
Having some power but no responsibility or realistic upside is a terrible way to live. You are living on ego because you have access to some founder-level discussions. I think I agree with the top responses to slowly find a better job.
What does your agreement say? Did you vest it all? If not you might lose it after 90 days.
As a VC Venture Partner that looks at 50 decks a year I agree to create the initial deck yourself but paying $1-2k for a professional UI/UX designer to make it better makes a world of difference. Takes a deck from looking like it was made by high school students to one that is worth way more than they’re asking.
