I bought a $130 laptop at best buy a handful of years ago on Black Friday. Still works great, although it’s only used for excel, so it didn’t need to be fancy

If it were me, I’d give them the breakdown to satisfy them, but have a policy that, for liability reasons, I don’t install parts supplied by a third party.
She can sue you because she doesn’t like what shoes you’re wearing. You can sue anyone for anything. Will she win, that’s another story.
She probably won’t win. Also, it’s like $100 to file a lawsuit so it would hardly be worth it for her.
She may file a chargeback, and she will win (they always do, even with evidence that they’re in the wrong). I’ve found only a small percentage who threaten it actually follow through (although I have a very small sample size)
