Hilarious how breakfast diners are so profitable and they literally choose the least profitable breakfast item to serve exclusively.
Why try to get people to pay you to pour cereal and milk into a bowl when people happily pay for eggs, pancakes, bacon, hash browns, and all the combinations you can make with these items.
If “you only live once” is part of your reasoning to do this, DON’T do it!
How many months of operating till you did yourself out of that $300K hole? Seriously, being conservative, how long till you break even on that $300K? How much profit are you bringing in a money with this shop?
Realize that so many things can go wrong and you need a bunch of extra cushion to account for that. How is there a gap in demand for coffee shops anywhere in the US? Are the major chains and current local shops in your area not meeting demand?
I second this. I literally use this to be diplomatic while blowing off the question. Why would you share your trade secrets with a potential competitor? People are so ignorant.
