I started my business for less. Of course I had the industry knowledge, the sweat equity, and am a glutton for punishment. It was a hellish first couple years.
You should really consider starting a service business if that if your price range. You’ll lose that 30k in a month or two buying any business you can afford for 30k.
Sounds like you need an operating/management team.
I own a service company that is plumbing adjacent. We are currently building a team to handle day to day operations so we can focus on growing new markets and a better work/life balance. This is my career, but hopefully not forever.
This will allow us to run the business relatively hands off, and it will allow us to eventually sell it as a turn key operation.
You have the business, you’ve done the hard work. Now scale and reap the benefits.
I’m pretty sure enterprise level credit cards don’t run business credit until you reach 5MM in revenue.
All of our cards have to be backed by our personal credit. We’ll do about 2MM in sales this year.
I wouldn’t disclose to my employees that I was selling my business. A deals not done until it’s done. Also, why cause more chaos?
That is the norm.
