This is going to sound Cliche, but I found a good partner who is a go getter and understands some finances who I trust, then we jumped in the deep end. Used an online service to file with the state (In the US), each three in a couple thousand and just started working through problems one at a time and using what I heard in other departments at my day jobs to know what to watch out for. I guarantee that in 7 years you’ve learned more business than you think.

Yeah this is huge. The nature of this role is that it’s 100% remote if you want since geographically I’m covering anywhere the DoD is. Good point the stress if I’m putting out applications.
