My father is very successful and I think the only trait that really stands out is that he doesn’t settle down until he gets what he wants. This requires insane faith in one’s self so I guess faith is also an important trait. Other than that I can’t see anything relevant.

This is a very very weak offering especially for something that’s only used - at least for most people - a few times a year.

At the end of it it’s your call. Don’t try to find validation outside of yourself. But also ask yourself this: would you regret the fact that you may never know if that app would be successful or not? And imagine if you’re partner keeps working on the app and makes it successful?
