I’ve been using Gusto for five years and am generally pleased. It was originally focused on the small tech biz market i.e. salaried staff but the functionality for businesses with hourly employees has improved. The self-onboarding is pretty easy though there are a few quirks that are mildly annoying.
Gusto offers time tracking but you can’t set up a kiosk, hourly employees would punch in on their own device which is a non-starter for my workforce. We use Deputy for time tracking which is a powerful tool, possible a bit overbuilt, but useful and integrates with Gusto so things are overall fairly smooth.
