  • It’s a different journey for everyone. IMO here is what to look out for, and I’ve already seen it in these comments.

People will trip over themselves to sell you courses on Dropshipping. Or hell, anything. They will tell you they make 50k a month doing it and are selling a course for 49.99. Does that make sense?

The true way in my opinion is to dig a little deeper and find a way to serve a community. A group, a niche.

Find a way to add value by being your authentic self. Again, not easy but the only true repeatable way to earn money and be an entrepreneur. Add value. It’s a blanket statement but run anything you want to get into through that lens. Is drop shipping adding value?

Again, everyone is different and you can kill it. Who knows.

  • Repurposing content for all platforms is the go to.

Likely finding where you get the most traction and going all in on that would also be an alternative to spreading yourself so thin.

Each platform has its own “vibe”.

For the actual content it really depends on your business. It can be how toos, answers to popular questions, updates, day in the life. Partnering with others.

ChatGPT is really good for this. You can take your business and just say “can you give me three of the most popular categories relating to /whatever your business is/ and create posts about those.

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Aside from that you can pay a copywriter to create and post. A virtual assistant etc.

But I would pick one and go deep.

  • Giving what is kind might be subjective and might change based on what you CAN give that year.

Giving based on something tangible like how the previous quarter went, a percentage of their pay takes a lot of the past years comparison away.

But if its $200.00 every year and you budget for that each year throughout the year per employee, its really up to you.

  • It’s the overall drop in productivity and engagement. My job is office based, my employees are field based. Their support teams are 100% WFH.

Engagement dropped. We constantly have to hit them up to have them do things they should be doing. Moving work, assigning, calling etc.

This is a team that when office based pre Covid had to have a supervisor walk up and down the cubicles to make sure they weren’t watching movies on their phones.

What do you think they are doing now?

When WFH started they had a hard time understanding their cameras. They would hop in a meeting literally in bed, head on the pillow, eyes closed. One turned her camera on, had to present in a meeting and did so from her Car because she left to get Dunkin Donuts. Apparently that couldn’t wait 20mins. It really became how do I fit work into my life.

If it’s a self driven role, like sales, seems good to go. The more your work the more you make.

If it’s a “9-5” for sure the goal is to work as little as possible to keep your job.

On the flip side I’m not sure how you can accurately gauge and grade performance.
