I was an accountant at a smallish firm. Enjoyed the work and my colleagues but felt unfulfilled churning out accounts and tax returns.
Found a local charity and started doing accounts and finance for them.
About to start a business with my wife providing accounting and business advice to small charities.
Sometimes you don’t need to completely change track to find fulfillment but just ply your current skills in a more fulfilling sector.
Pretty much any accounting software will have the ability to invoice.
Don’t get anything extra, assuming you have some sort of bookkeeping software (Sage/QuickBooks/Xero/etc) you can just use that.
Wow. I guess this is different from country to country because in the UK we have .co.uk as our country suffix and personally I much prefer any website with that suffix.
I know it’s going to be aimed at Brits, the prices will be in pounds etc.
It feels like most .com websites are squarely aimed at Americans so I always try and get to a .co.uk if possible.
