I have “vacation time” but tbh I’m always sort of available and always sort of working. I keep trying to transition more and more for the business to be self sufficient but it’s very challenging.

I use them a lot, my advice find one of those companies that excels and whatever your area of businesses and pay them their small monthly fee. It sucks at first but you end up spending way more money doing it yourself because you don’t know how to optimize as well as they do.
Edit: avoid yelp ads like the plague. They are dying company and extremely predatory.
I needed two new laptops. Kept polluting it off. Got a great deal on them, saved probably 300 bucks. Otherwise don’t but anything you don’t need.
It happens occasionally by low quality competitors who are desperate losers. Mine was a google review and luckily google was able to figure this out and remove it. It sucks man but unless can trace it to them clearly you don’t have much legal recourse.
My advice, up your quality even more and drive them out of business. Also, poach whatever good employees they might have if you’ve got the cash flow. Also, see if you can team up with another local competitor of theirs to put increased pressure on them. Most people are decent, reputable, business owners, the ones that aren’t you have to snuff them out. Most of your interactions in the business world will be pleasant and most people are good people but sometimes you have to be brutal. Just make sure you take the highroad.
Go visit tech credit union. They are a pretty great to work with even though the other website is a piece of crap and do a ton of SBA loans. You’ll only be able to get 5 million max so you’ll have to come up with the rest somewhere else. Is the seller willing to carry a note?
It’s highly dependent on your situation but it’s hard across state lines especially non-neighboring states where can’t be close to them. Plan on spending a lot more on site specific management than you anticipate. It’s very hard to replace “yourself” and in my experience takes two people usually.
