It is a thing, but not as popular as providing plants for an office and keeping them looking good. The problem is that during tough times those services are the first to go. The customers assume they can take care of them and save money. The good thing is when times get better they buy all new plants from you because they let the other ones die.

My flower shop has been slow most of the year but the last couple of months are pretty bad. The discretionary part of our business has really taken a hit. We still have weddings and funerals but even those people are spending less.
