Different people have different goals in life. Some people dont understand or even want the sacrifice required to get your business off the ground and run it successfully. Definitely not possible working the standard 9-to-5. It will be very difficult if you are with a partner that is not willing to share that sacrifice with you, so understand that your respective goals in life choices must be aligned or it wont work, as you are witnessing yourself.
Also, it is entirely OK to give you 100% to your business, at least for a period of your life. Forget the “balanced life” BS. I do not know any successful business onwer (and I know many) that didnt commit all the way. Success is amazing and very rewarding, but you gotta pay its toll in sweat and stress. No way around it. Is it worth it? That only you can answer… IMHO, yes.
Cheer up though: your own business is not just a job: it is the materalization of your ambitions and desires in life. Focus on it, and one day the right partner with similar desires with come along.
