Hi,

I own a small business that has a 11+ suppliers some of them have the same items that i buy but with different prices.

Lately I have noticed that they keep creeping the prices up with out let in me know before ordering, so every month I go through the same process of going to each suppliers and writing down the price, then compare, etc…

So today I had the idea that I would be cool if i could some how note prices down in a software and get % increment over time frame, what supplier is the cheapest now , profit margin calculation and so on

Do you guys have/ know an specific software that can do this? I was thinking about Excel or PBI but to be honest i think at this point and with sooo many changes its probably better something like a database…

thanks

You could get a developer to write you a simple script that collects and stores this data daily or hourly. It could be done cheaply as it’s a fairly simple task.
