Ever since getting tickets, my inbox has received a flood of spam from random vendors, service providers, people pretending to have met me at the conference, yada yada yada.

Wild how they charge so much for a ticket and then sell you off like cattle. My inbox and LinkedIn is now utterly cluttered. I regret the BS event.

This is normal procedure for most conferences. You should probably read the terms when you give up your info.

Having worked as a sponsor at these events, depending on what tier of sponsor you are, you will recieve attendee information. Plus, if someone at a booth scans your badge, they automatically get your info.

The emails and spam will die out fairly quickly. Most SDR’s and AE’s don’t follow up more than a few times or drop you into a 30 day automated sequence. Click unsubscribe at the bottom of emails or just reply DNC and the person on the other end will remove you from lists(or they should if they are a self respecting org).
