Ever since getting tickets, my inbox has received a flood of spam from random vendors, service providers, people pretending to have met me at the conference, yada yada yada.
Wild how they charge so much for a ticket and then sell you off like cattle. My inbox and LinkedIn is now utterly cluttered. I regret the BS event.
Most do. The idea that there is privacy online or that “selling your data” is rare and therefore bad, is entirely rhetoric. The internet is by default very tracked and shared; that’s why it was built.
