Why podcasts are more successful than newsletters?

I already have one newsletter and I love writing it every week.

But it seems to me that having a podcast would get you more exposure (maybe because of Spotify/Apple) in the long run.

Newsletters are hard to promote, amirite?

It’s more convenient. I can’t read a newsletter on my way to work. I can listen to a podcast though.
