So I learned Next.js while making this site and javascript is not my primary language, so it’s not the most beautiful web app you’ve seen. The main focus is the nested “subreddits”. It was enjoyable to use Next though.
Instead of making another reddit or HN clone I wanted to do something different. This app is different because there are arbitrarily nested “subreddits” or channels, which catch-all routes support nicely. The focus is a content feed based on this idea rather than subscribing to individual subreddits/channels. Also, being a SPA allows for more fluid navigation through channels. I have plans to make content more “dynamic”, if that makes sense.
