For every startup and entrepreneur, the goal is always to get a successful product/service out and get paying customers for it.
There are many articles and advice on what works to get out an MVP, example we have heard it many times before: launch and fail fast, iterate and ab test, generate ideas, how to linkedin outreach, how to do funnel marketing…
Nobody actually describes the process how to get paid…and here’s the reality: nobody is going to pay you through a Venmo or Wise transfer because it looks scammy.
You must get a payment channel set up, whether its Stripe or Paddle or Rapyd.
Here’s the thing, all these need approvals and business processes and company setups. So how do you know if an idea works unless you get properly paid? So you must consume time energy and resources to setup everything to enable being paid before you know your business works.
To top it off, if you’re involved in something new like blockchain or AI. The approval process takes a long time especially if there are potential copyright and/or securities concerns.
Nobody talks about this Elephant in the room, so I would like to know the entrepreneur community views on this.
Like others said, Stripe for the ease of use.
