So I’ve created the website, created the designs, ordered samples, quality checked, linked my POD store to the site, successfully made my first order through the site and I feel like everything is lining up to the vision I had for this brand. Now, to get noticed.

What are good ways to advertise a small, brand new, slightly niche market, apparel business in an already over saturated market?

Also, if this somehow gains any traction and I do end up with some decent sales, I’d love to transition from POD to bulk ordering and doing the leg work myself. What should be the first step in that direction?

Thanks in advance!

Well, what’s the niche market? Are you selling graphic tees? Funny phrases or pics? Or are you trying to sell uniform type tees to businesses? I’m not sure what the rules are about linking the website but if it’s not allowed shoot me a DM link.

As someone that’s ran a clothing business, viral tik toks helped me. I learned the algorithm, made good content, made good clothes and did numbers. Since the tik toks went viral, influencers would reach out to me to send them stuff. Most of the influencers didn’t post what I sent, so I recommend incentivizing them and or having some type of conditions or agreements before going that route. I would also involve lots of models so they would repost the content with them, I was in NYC so different context probably. I did 95% organic. 25-7k per drop in revenue
