Quick summary: After an eye-opening conversation with my mentor, I’ve taken a moment to reassess my career trajectory. The result? I’m leaving my steady job to launch my own entrepreneurial journey. It’s been a long time coming, but as they say, there’s no better moment than now to take action.

Instead of staying in the background as a web designer, playing it safe, I’m ready to pivot and create meaningful industry relationships along the way.

My immediate goal for the upcoming quarter is to craft 25 exceptional websites. It’s going to be a grind, but far more fulfilling than putting in time year after year at a traditional 9-5.     I run an agency and I’m a web developer. You should really keep the ready job and do the business as a side gif until it grows enough to be a main gig. Freelancing is hard. And its saturated. It took me years to get to a point where I make more than I do at my day job and get referral work. You will struggle financially and put a lot of stress in yourself. You king get a few clients from this post but it’s not enough to sustain you long term without a good sales pipeline and referral network.
