Hey so I’ve been to a couple parties and heard about others in my area. It’s an average sized city, around 45,000 people with a college campus.

I had an idea recently just to stack some extra cash. Hosting house parties with an entry fee and sold beer, ext. Nothing major but it got me thinking.

Would I potentially be able to rent out venues and handle everything from everything event wise. Just a small idea I’m thinking about.

Yeah, right. Until you realize you need permits for that, plus the cost of insurance in case anything goes wrong, the cops could show up any minute for a noise complaint, someone could get too drunk and hurt themselves on your property. It’s a logistical nightmare and a legal minefield. Is it even worth the potential headache and trouble? Not to mention the cleanliness and potential damage to the property. Do yourself a favor and forget about this “business model”.
