Hey all,

I’m have been eager to start making money for a while now.

It first started when I started reselling shoes. I don’t want to explain my idea on reddit really, but the whole jist of it is that I’m going to start selling shoes/clothes online through my own eCommerce store.

I’m spending a couple thousand creating my websites and getting everything organized, I believe my business model will work considering the success es of others I’ve seen, I also believe my deals will be more appealing because of my better service overall. I’m expecting this to be succsesful.

However, I also want to start my own Digital Marketing Agency, 1) Because my dad does marketing & sales and is pretty successful, 2) I like the idea of owning my Agency because of the flexibility and my skills with Social Media.

Now, generally, is this a smart idea? I have a lot of free time I can invest into perfecting my skills, and for the clothing store thing, I’m making it a sort of passive income thing, that i’m going to use to fund the marketing agency.

Any thoughts on this?

I see a lot of crossover in your businesses so you’re kind of killing two birds with one stone. I wouldn’t recommend against it at all. I’ve always had a few things going on and it helps me when I get down about one, or bored with one. That’s the thing about business ownership- you can do whatever the fuck you want my friend! Social media marketing has been awesome to watch- the average 16 year old social media person knows 10x more than the professional social media person who is 50 years old. Not a lot of industries are that way- kudos to you for taking advantage of it.
