It’s the type of client, no place accepts just cash unless it caters exclusively to folks who only have cash.

Further this same type owner sells almost at cost and unlike any reasonable business that considers costs in their pricing these folks don’t.

Which is why you see cash only or price plus fixed fee if using a card.

I haven’t carried cash for over a decade and I don’t swipe at a place which charges a fee to do so.
