Pot shops can’t take credit card or have a bank account because marijuana is still illegal at the federal level. It’s a weird loophole. They’re still required to pay taxes to the IRS though.
The government wants the best of both worlds, seizing money for illegal activity (which they do from time to time in states where it’s legal) and taxing the business lol
