Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out to the community for insights on a business idea that emerged from a personal experience in India, where mobile payments play a crucial role in daily transactions through Unified Payment Interface (UPI).
Recently, I encountered a network issue at a popular tea shop, preventing me from completing a payment via UPI. The cashier assisted by connecting my phone to the shop’s Wi-Fi, but I noticed that the Wi-Fi remained accessible to everyone present, potentially leading to unauthorized usage.
This sparked an idea: What if there was a solution that allowed businesses to offer guest Wi-Fi that connects automatically without a password and disconnects after a short period (like one minute)? This would not only facilitate smoother transactions during network issues but also prevent unauthorized long-term access to the Wi-fi and save the employees time from typing the password.
I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this concept. Do you think such a solution would be useful for businesses? What potential challenges or improvements do you foresee? How can I build it?
Thank you for your time and insights!
