Hi guys. I have a screen printing and embroidery shop in a smallish town on Main St. Right across from me a Boutique has opened, the lady does DTF heatpress. I usually post the jobs I do for local businesses and schools on my fb page. This ladt year I’ve had nearly 20 people tell me that the lady at the Boutique has called them to say bad things about me and my shop and offer to do apparel. I don’t mean to be unkind but she’s kind of a crackhead like lady, crazy and erratic. She has gone so far as to go into the local school and complain that I do their apparel but her kids go to the school and so it’s “unfair”.

I’ve talked to lawyers and unfortunately there’s nothing legally I can do about it. There’s something about competitive business rhetoric that is protected, and I would have to prove she’s costing me money which is hard and fees for that would be $8,000-$9,000.

Yesterday a big account I do told me called them and I’m about at my wits end.

Has anyone else had anything similar happen? Is there anything I can do? Or do I just let her call my customers?
