I provide custom apparel services. own two businesses that do very similar things, basically at different volumes. The way I currently have it set up is as follows:

Business A: a true “B2B” business hunting for the larger wholesale volume clients doing volume in merch sales.

Business B: a more D2C e-commerce model for the smaller volume clients who are looking to purchase small quantities or samples. I use this business as a funnel into business A for those customers that do need bulk volume.

Does it make sense to keep them separate, or does it make more sense to offer Business B as a service under Business A?
