I started a Flooring/Contracting company in 2021. The past two years have been suprisingly successful and thus we’ve built up some solid reviews and word of mouth “marketing”.

I want to grow. I want to expand. I want to turn this into a million dollar company and sell it. I’m looking for advice on how to do so.

Business is set up as a single member LLC. I have a reliable net of subcontractors.

It isn’t the best time for loans, so I want to do as much as I can with cash. Unless someone recommends otherwise.

The only marketing I’ve done for the business is via a self made WordPress site. Don’t pay a penny. I know hiring a marketing firm can be hit or miss, some providing a lot of value, others even reducing value for your business. Any recommendations?

Consistently receiving 2-8 leads per week and have a close rate over 70%. Most of my clients are smaller to average sized jobs. Any advice on how to appeal to wealthier clients?

Any insight would be much appreciated. Like I said, I want to make this company take off and hopefully sell. Thanks for your time.

Do you have many contacts in the industry? I work a lot with tradesmen (financial services) and when discussing growth avenues our best success has always come from General Contractor, material vendors, and similar contacts. Not just customers, but getting in touch with more people than in turn have easy access to customers.

Particularly, GCs with B2B contacts are best. Businesses will always have the deepest pockets. We found that we could push business relationships with B2B GCs and developers and then turn over tens of thousands working multiple houses or commercial buildings in a neighborhood/development/shopping center.
