Hi Startup Community,

My name is Rashad Rahman I am 28 years old. From my childhoods days I always wanted to start my own business.

I have started multiple side hustles in my school days until my colleage days.

In 2016 when I was in my second year college I started a clothing brand and it ran for around 1 year and was closed due to lack of funds

After that I went to work and into a random job only to earn money but my entrepreneurial spirit was not dead .After getting some money from my job i started my second venture in 2018 which was an ecommerce for all thing related desserts.

The startup was running fine and I began to get repeated orders. But the same issue of burn out of funds happened this time also.

After this I began to read all the books related to business, entrepreneurship and any books that I can get my hands on related to this.

And within 1-2 years I have read about 100+ books on business. Then on Covid time I saw a market trend in which there was lot of people who were starting to bake from home and starting a YouTube channel.i saw this opportunity and I restarted my dessert startup but this time different I made a brand from it selling baking essentials only.

But within 3 months of my launch I didn’t get any repeat order. After Covid when all people went outside of their home they didn’t had the passion to bake.So I also closed to that business also.

Then in 2023 I moved to Dubai for starting a Rat Race. After 6 months of working there I began to hate my life I always dreamt of being my own boss.

Until this year May 2023 I began to share my knowledge about startups, business, productivity and the knowledge I got from the books I read.

And within 1 month I began my Instagram began to explode now I have around 16,000 followers. When I started to share my knowledge to the startup community I thought may be within 1 year I will get around 10,000 followers.

This opened my eyes and as an extension of my Instagram channel I have a started my newsletter ✉️in which I share my knowledge about startup, business ,AI.

If you guys are interested in learning more about this feel free to subscribe to newsletter ✉️

Thank you 😊

So you are telling me, you are sharing knowledge about startups but at the same time managed to bankrupt 3 of your own?

How does that make sense? I know mistakes are great teachers, but you lack the insight of a successful business.

The Rat Race sometimes is useful to get knowledge into industries and well stablished businesses. The trap here is not to stay in the comfort of a “decent wage”.

All and all, if you are growing in social media, more power to you! People nowadays will consume everything that find engaging even though it might not be accurate or useful. Whatever you are doing it is working and you should keep it up.

At the time when I started my business I was only 18,21,23 years where basically I didn’t had any knowledge of business or startups.

When I failed I began to study why I failed after that I gained my knowledge.

Note: I am not sharing any advice for startups just sharing knowledge which I think would be helpful for entrepreneurs.
