I remember seeing Bitcoin when it was cheap and never having the certainty to invest in it. I want to develop the skills that will let me see the next “Bitcoin” before it’s too big to get in early. Specifically a technology of this scale and massive economic impact. I am not asking for help picking a good cryptocurrency to invest in.

What are some good books to help me do this?

I think what you’re looking for is a crystal ball. Which doesn’t exist. Hindsight is 20/20 when looking at something like Bitcoin. There’s a million other cryptocurrencies that’ve gone absolutely nowhere.

This. I’d suggest if you want to read books about chance and rarity, to check out Malcolm Gladwell and Nassim Taleb.

Ok you saw that I said I’m not looking for crypto to invest in right?

Back in 2011 I was able to tell btc might be big because there was going to be a finite quantity and it was essentially valueless at that point.

This is not me asking for a crystal ball.

You’re missing the point. There’s no book that’s going to tell you how to select the next big thing in any niche or industry.

Two other people in this post suggested books.

If you don’t have anything to contribute, that’s fine, but don’t try to tell me this isn’t a valid request.

Learning to observe and predict trends is a teachable skill. I’m astounded at the other poor quality of responses in this Thread.

I’m also looking for a book to learn how to recognize value in certain numbers before they are selected as the Powerball winners
