$15+$10 shipping OR $25 free shipping? started as the first and got some orders but I am now doing the 2nd only gotten about 4 so far, but I was using different communities. What do y’all think abt it? Which do you think is better?
$19.99 plus $5 shipping, in general having a min purchase for free shipping has worked best in most situations that I’ve experienced with.
The second option.
The first sets your price anchor too low and there’s nowhere to go for discounts etc.
Not to mention, most people will choose the free shipping option if given both choices.
is $10 your actual shipping cost? is it reduced per product when shipping in volume (an order of 2 or more)?
don’t forget to consider potential returns/refunds. the former, you’re only refunding $15, while the latter you’re refunding the full $25, which means you eat the shipping cost. you could mitigate that with a restocking fee.
depending on your product, if you go with the former you have opportunities to upsell with a free shipping on orders over $X option.
Don’t guess, test both.
