Hi all - I think I am wanting to use Wave accounting (free software is the goal) for a resident home builder business. My question I’m trying to get answered, and I cannot find it is if you can have separate projects within the software basically I want a ledger or log for each home. I am building with the expenses and payments in it, running up to a larger balance sheet. Does anyone know if wave can do this? Or, if you know a free accounting software that has invoices included that can do this, please let me know.
i would say no, i use the free version of waveapps for basic expense tracking and it is suffice for me
but i dont know the intricies of everything that needed for managing construction projects
i’d suggest maybe quickly signing up for an account using a gmail address and see for yourself if it will be enough for what you are trying to do
Thanks for the reply. It looks like I can add a new account for every project. It may work. It’ll be good for vendor mgt too.
