I own a small business that can really only be done in the warm weather months as it is outdoor entertainment. My full time job is burning me out and I’d like to move on from it, but need some winter and spring work to supplement my income. My wife makes pretty good money, so I really just need to match what I’m making now.
I run a small agricultural operation, so stockpiling in one season and burning through it in the other is just part of the business cycle. I just budget across the calendar year instead of monthly or quarterly.
