Hello everyone,I’ve been on the hunt for a no-code solution to create a listing website, primarily to display information from a database/JSON/CSV/Excel.However, the more I delve into this, the more I notice a significant gap in the market. Example of a listing site - https://nomadlist.com/

The Challenge: I need a no-code platform that allows building a website with extensive lists of information where users can search, sort, and perform other functions. My main requirement is handling a large amount of data.I’ve explored options like Webflow/ sheet to the site, but they limit the amount of data you can upload and design functionality. Alternatively, we can build customs using a typical web stack and API-first tools like Algolia search, but we require building from scratch.

This is a major hurdle for what I’m trying to achieve here with a no-code tool.Has anyone here found a solution to this problem? Or is it worth attempting to build something around as a tool? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

There’s more than a few applications for building websites from information in Google sheets, csvs, and excel files. The attractiveness of the websites can very widely but they seem to be in the niche you’re looking at.

Great question. What’s the goal with this platform you’re going to build? Expand and grow exponentially?

Define large. Thousands of records? Millions? Bilions? Are records always structured in the same way? Is keyword search a requirement? If so that is often where performances can vary dramatically.

THIS! Need more information about the number or records (eg rows) and data points (columns) and which you want to use and how. Is it ordering, filtering, searching, etc.

Noloco, Glide, Softr. If you need a big backend then probably xano + noloco is your best bet.
