I’m a US citizen but I am currently based in Argentina so $20 goes a long way.

I’ve signed up for quite a few sites and platforms online (Upwork, UserTesting, Dscout, Appen) but no luck. Also quite a few job applications from everything from web dev to customer service and not much from that yet.

Anyway I have a good bit of marketable skills so I’m sure I can make something work but have just been struggling a lot.

I can do:

• Web Development - React.js sites mostly, usually alongside Node.js, Next.js, Firebase and good old JS/CSS/HTML - Github is JohnFuhrm12

• Translation/Transcription - My native language is English but I am also fluent in Spanish and have decent Portuguese skills as well - I’ve given classes before as well

• Customer Support - I have a year of experience with a call center/social media management job that I had in Colombia, can do anything bilingual as well

If you have any ideas or advice let me know and I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks!

I have a friend who owns an education technology startup with the mission to help students study smarter and reduce their workload by learning more efficiently. Their entire team works remotely. If you’re keen, drop me a DM and I can make the introduction

You can earn money by lending cryptocurrency into exchanges, and earn a share of the profit generated by exchange fees, it’s called liquidity mining.

There are hundreds of systems that allow you to do this, one of the best is biswap, it’s token is listed on binance exchange the worlds biggest exchange.

Some of the returns are 20% yearly or more, plus you can compound often.

I’m a programmer and easily get 20-30 dollars per day. In my country I’d need to 10x that to live comfortably. Makes me want to consider moving to Argentina haha.

You wouldnt be super comfortable like that but you could do it. Minimum wage here is less than $200 a month. Many people dont even make that.

If you made $800-$1000 a month here you would do great though.

Check out remote job boards. Not sure if it’s allowed to mention but I use We Work Remotely and Remote OK. Lots of opportunities on there with someone of your skills.

How is Argentina? Are there any investment opportunities? I’m in Mexico, but don’t have much in the bank and would like to buy a home somewhere.

Real estate is pretty expensive here and the economy is extremely unstable. It’s great to visit and can be extremely cheap for tourists but I wouldnt invest here imo.

Upwork might be the best if you know how the platform works. Fiverr has a lot of competition with people willing to work for 10 cents per hour
