Trying to get in touch with a small business. I’m interested in becoming a paying customer but I have yet to get any real info. I texted on 11/22/22 and they responded on 11/24/23 and said they would touch base later that day. They didn’t. It is now 11/25/23 and I’m just wondering how you get them to respond. I will wait a bit longer before sparking conversation again but does anyone have any tips for engagement? entering this program is something that could could really benefit me, so I really would like this to work out. Thanks guys

    First, text them again. No need to wait if you want something.

    Second, be cautious because if they’re this slow when you want to give them money, it’s likely worse when you need support.

    Lastly, if you still want to engage with them, say it clearly in your message. They may get a lot of generic messages, so you can be clear about how it adds value to them. If you’re looking to resell their product, for example, you can say that in your outreach and a note about your audience, like “I have a retail store at X” or “a website with 20k emails.” This will help get their interest.
