Hi everyone! I’ve just filed my first LLC & am planning to open a vintage boutique in my city- I’m completely new to owning a legitimate business of my own. I thought this would be a great question to ask as I know I’ll be making many mistakes in my first year of business.

Start small, keep your costs low especially in the beginning. Test the market before going all in. No matter how convinced you are that this business will take off, it’s important to be not too optimistic. Your number one objective is to figure out if what you are doing is a valid proof of concept.
