Hi everyone! I’ve just filed my first LLC & am planning to open a vintage boutique in my city- I’m completely new to owning a legitimate business of my own. I thought this would be a great question to ask as I know I’ll be making many mistakes in my first year of business.

Mine was having fully formed contracts. The worst experience I had in my first year of business was being promised x amount of money weekly doing product photography for a company, only for them to not have the amount of product at all for me to accumulate that weekly total. I blew through my savings early and resented that gig within a month, but needed the money from it to stay afloat.
