Over a year ago, I started working on the first version of floatui.com, and I worked hard to ship it as soon as possible so people can start using it in their projects, the idea wasn’t to build a library with complex things, where you’ll need to install it, and reading the documentation on how to use something there …etc, but I liked to keep it simple as possible, and let developers copy the code to build their own internal library using Tailwind CSS utility classes.
My goal for Float UI is to make it the best way to build UIs for any kind of projects using any modern JS framework, and to give the contributors the opportunity to make money by just contributing to it.
Note: It’s fully free and open source, and I will keep it free forever, so enjoy it friends.

Hey community, i hope this comment finds you well, i am looking for feedback for a small side project i am building called Echo - www.echonow.co
Echo allows you effortlessly leave voice comments inside google docs, sheets , slides & more.
I am looking for early adopters & feedback on the product.Nice work OP! I was actually using it a minute ago. I like Tailwind’s focus on well design, such as its color palette, hierarchy and spacing but I’m not a fan of its syntax. So tools like FloatUI help to pick up components quickly without learning Tailwind’s syntax.
I’m using a few libraries like this at the same time since one library may not have enough components I need, for example, the empty state. But FloatUI is best of all the ones I have tried.
Thanks for your work and if you are launching it or an advanced version on Product Hunt, I will be happy to vote for it:)
Hey mate, thank you for the support, really appreciate it. you jus made my day.
This is kick-ass I stumbled up this library just a few days back. I understand op is working full time on this? How are you going to make money?
Are these framework components or web components that can be used everywhere?
Hey dude, these components built on top of the modern JS frameworks, for example if you use React, you’ll find components with it, the same with Vue, HTML with AlpineJS.
Nice work OP! Just curious why dont you include Angular or is it planned?
Hey there! for now I don’t have any plan to include Angular tbh.
