Hi All

I’m starting a business, and I’m importing my product from another country to customers via a freight forwarder because the manufacturer does not ship overseas.

As I begin making the website, I realize there is no proper way to fulfill orders, so I am looking for a platform that can fill the following criteria.

  1. Can be integrated with Wordpress

  2. Allows my freight forwarder to put tracking numbers into its API

  3. Sends me and my freight forwarder emails when there is an order

    A 3PL software would be best. If your freight forwarded is only doing this for you then they may not be willing to spend that type of money monthly.

    A cheap alternative would be ShipStation. It connects to Wordpress sites via API and the freight forwarder can use it to create small parcel labels. Downside is there is no inventory location portion so the shipper would need to know where your items are. It can track inventory numbers but I do not believe it will print pick tickets with the exact inventory location of each item.

    Alternatively you can just locate a company in the country you want to fulfill in that does fulfillment professionally and has all of this set up for you.
