I work full-time, but am trying to create multiple streams of income that can eventually take over my full-time job. I used to make craft models, so I made one and wrote instructions and tried to sell it on Etsy. No views, and I realized there’s many reasons why such as I don’t have enough listings, it’s not a common product, etc. I realized it can take a while to slowly grow and market this idea up to get a bit of traffic. In other words, not only product creation is made, also competing to get displayed where people actually see it through searching, etc.
I used to have a small tutoring side gig and I want to eventually create online courses to sell (such as on Udemy) but there is a lot of upfront time spent creating and also may not sell.
I also want to try growing a YouTube channel making videos on topics that are popular (and of interest to me) that are easier to create by utilizing information I find, and optimizing it into catchy videos that gains traction.
All of these topics are separate and I need to spend more time involved in each process. I don’t have time to grow all 3 but I find myself dabbling in one attempt, then trying another.
When starting out, how did you choose your one main thing to grow first?
Why not Tiktok which is the best way to be viral now?
