I’m 23 and working full time as a tech working on locks, doors, garage doors, gates etc. with 4 years of experience.
I want to have my own business and be fully supported by it by the age of 30. Hopefully less than that but that’s just a goal
I truly don’t want to get into a business in what I already do although I have knowledge of it already. I’m just not passionate about it. I am into hiking, wildlife conservation, and want to get into something more in that field.
Does anyone have any idea on where I can look into?
If I had the money I would love to design an app to help hikers, but my budget is between 10k-20K at the moment. Do I need to just wait and start somewhere small?

What hiker problem(s) does your app solve and does the solution have great value?
For example, I’m a bike rider. There are bike ride tracker apps that use GPS to provide time, distance, route, elevation, calories, travel speed, etc.
Down load for free, in-app purchases.
Are there hiker apps? I didn’t look.
If you want to come up with something of great value, you will need to identify or figure out hiker problems that are perplexing.
